- 200 g flank steak or sirloin, thinly sliced
- 200 g dried Chinese-style egg noodles or ramen
- 2 garlic cloves, minced
- 1 tablespoon fresh ginger, grated
- 2 tablespoons soy sauce
- 1 tablespoon hoisin or oyster sauce
- 1 teaspoon chili paste or chili flakes
- 1 tablespoon sesame oil
- 1 cup bell pepper, sliced
- 1 cup broccoli florets
- 2 green onions, sliced
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Marinate beef with 1 tablespoon soy sauce and pepper 10 minutes.
- Cook noodles according to package; drain and set aside.
- In a skillet, heat sesame oil over medium-high; add garlic and ginger, sauté 30 seconds.
- Add beef, sear until browned, about 2-3 minutes.
- Stir in bell pepper and broccoli, cook until crisp-tender.
- Pour in remaining soy sauce and hoisin; toss with noodles until coated.
- Finish with green onions, adjust seasoning, and serve hot.
Notes
- Feel free to swap beef with chicken or tofu for variety.
- For extra heat, add more chili paste.
- If sauce is too thick, loosen with a splash of water or stock.
