- 12 lasagna noodles, cooked
- 1 pound ground beef
- 1 onion, chopped
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 4 cups marinara sauce
- 1 cup ricotta cheese
- 2 cups shredded mozzarella
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 375F (190C). Cook noodles until al dente and set aside.
- In a skillet, cook beef with onion and garlic until browned; drain excess fat.
- Stir in marinara sauce and simmer 10 minutes.
- Spread a thin layer of sauce in a baking dish. Layer noodles, ricotta, sauce, mozzarella; repeat, finishing with sauce and Parmesan on top.
- Cover and bake 25 minutes, then uncover and bake 15-20 minutes until bubbly and cheese is melted.
- Let stand 10 minutes before slicing and serving.

- To lighten, use part-skim cheese
- Make ahead and refrigerate
