Ingredients

  • 12 lasagna noodles, cooked
  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 4 cups marinara sauce
  • 1 cup ricotta cheese
  • 2 cups shredded mozzarella
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375F (190C). Cook noodles until al dente and set aside.
  2. In a skillet, cook beef with onion and garlic until browned; drain excess fat.
  3. Stir in marinara sauce and simmer 10 minutes.
  4. Spread a thin layer of sauce in a baking dish. Layer noodles, ricotta, sauce, mozzarella; repeat, finishing with sauce and Parmesan on top.
  5. Cover and bake 25 minutes, then uncover and bake 15-20 minutes until bubbly and cheese is melted.
  6. Let stand 10 minutes before slicing and serving.
