- 1 cup old-fashioned oats
- 1/2 cup creamy peanut butter (xylitol-free)
- 1 ripe banana, mashed
- 2 tablespoons unsweetened yogurt (optional)
- 1/4 cup water or unsweetened almond milk, as needed
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- In a bowl, mix oats, peanut butter, mashed banana, yogurt, and enough liquid to form a thick dough.
- Roll dough into 1-inch balls or press into a 1/4-inch thick sheet and cut into small shapes.
- Place on prepared sheet and bake 12–15 minutes, until edges are golden.
- Let cool completely before giving to dogs.
Notes
- Use xylitol-free peanut butter; avoid any sweeteners favored by dogs.
- For allergies, substitute with sun butter and oats, or use oat flour.
- Store in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 1 week or freeze for 2–3 months.
