- 2 large eggs
- 2 tablespoons melted butter or oil
- 1 tablespoon honey or maple syrup
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
- Pinch of salt
- Optional: fresh berries or sliced banana for serving
Instructions
- Whisk together flour, protein powder, baking powder, and salt in a bowl.
- In another bowl, whisk milk, eggs, melted butter, honey, and vanilla until combined.
- Stir wet ingredients into dry ingredients until just combined; let batter rest 3–5 minutes.
- Preheat waffle iron and lightly grease. Cook batter in batches until golden and crisp.
- Serve with berries, yogurt, and a drizzle of maple syrup.
Notes
- If batter is too thick, thin with a splash of milk.
- For extra fluffiness, whisk eggs separately and fold in last.
- Store leftovers in the fridge and reheat in a toaster or waffle iron.
