  • 1 cup (120g) dried cherries, chopped

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and line baking sheets with parchment paper.
  2. In a large bowl, cream together butter, brown sugar, and granulated sugar until light and fluffy.
  3. Beat in egg and vanilla until fully combined.
  4. In a separate bowl, whisk together flour, cocoa powder, baking soda, and salt.
  5. Gradually mix dry ingredients into wet until just combined.
  6. Fold in chocolate chips and dried cherries.
  7. Scoop dough into 1.5-tablespoon portions and roll into balls.
  8. Place 2 inches apart on baking sheets and bake for 10–12 minutes until edges are set and centers look slightly underdone.
  9. Let cool on baking sheet for 5 minutes before transferring to wire racks.
