- 1 lb ground beef
- 1 small onion, diced
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tsp chili powder
- 1/2 tsp ground cumin
- 1/2 tsp paprika
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
- 24 mini phyllo cones or coned wonton cups
- 2 tbsp chopped fresh parsley
- Optional: sour cream or salsa for serving
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Cook beef with onion and garlic until browned; drain excess fat.
- Stir in chili powder, cumin, paprika, salt, and pepper; cook 2 minutes. Remove from heat and mix in half of the cheese.
- Fill each cone with the beef mixture and place on a baking sheet. Top with remaining cheese.
- Bake 8–12 minutes until cheese is melted and cones are crisp.
- Garnish with parsley and serve with optional sour cream or salsa.
Notes
- Make filling ahead and chill to ease filling.
- Use mini phyllo cones or wonton cups for easy shaping and baking.
- Switch up toppings with salsa, avocado, or sour cream for variety.
