Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1 small onion, diced
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tsp chili powder
  • 1/2 tsp ground cumin
  • 1/2 tsp paprika
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
  • 24 mini phyllo cones or coned wonton cups
  • 2 tbsp chopped fresh parsley
  • Optional: sour cream or salsa for serving

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Cook beef with onion and garlic until browned; drain excess fat.
  3. Stir in chili powder, cumin, paprika, salt, and pepper; cook 2 minutes. Remove from heat and mix in half of the cheese.
  4. Fill each cone with the beef mixture and place on a baking sheet. Top with remaining cheese.
  5. Bake 8–12 minutes until cheese is melted and cones are crisp.
  6. Garnish with parsley and serve with optional sour cream or salsa.
