- 2-3 tablespoons ice water
Instructions
- In a food processor, pulse flour, cheddar cheese, and salt until crumbly.
- Add butter and pulse until mixture resembles coarse crumbs.
- With processor running, add ice water 1 tablespoon at a time until dough forms.
- Roll dough to 1/8 inch thickness between parchment papers; cut into rectangles and transfer to a sheet.
- Bake at 375°F (190°C) for 12-15 minutes until golden. Cool completely before breaking into crackers.
Notes
- Chill dough before rolling to prevent cracking.
- Prick holes with a fork to ensure even baking.
- Store baked crackers in an airtight container for up to 1 week.
