Ingredients
Scale
- 1 pre-made pizza dough or homemade dough
- 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1/2 cup crumbled feta cheese
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- Zest and juice of 1 large lemon
- Fresh basil leaves, chopped
- Salt and freshly ground black pepper to taste
- Red pepper flakes (optional for extra zing)
Instructions
- Prepare your pizza dough, either using a pre-made base or making your own from scratch. Roll out on a floured surface to your desired thickness.
- Mix olive oil, minced garlic, lemon zest, and lemon juice in a small bowl. Spread this lemon garlic mixture evenly over the rolled-out dough.
- Sprinkle shredded mozzarella evenly over the lemon base, then add crumbled feta and grated Parmesan cheese.
- Top with freshly chopped basil leaves. Season with salt, black pepper, and red pepper flakes if desired.
- Preheat your oven to 475°F (245°C). Transfer the pizza onto a baking sheet or pizza stone and bake for 12-15 minutes until the crust is golden and cheese is bubbly.
- Remove from the oven, garnish with additional basil if desired, and serve warm with a squeeze of fresh lemon for added brightness.
Notes
- Use the freshest ingredients for maximum flavor.
- Experiment with additional toppings like cherry tomatoes or olives for more variety.
- Preheat the oven thoroughly to ensure a crispy crust.
- For gluten-free options, substitute with cauliflower crust or gluten-free pizza dough.
