Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Line baking sheets with parchment paper.
  2. Mix flour, cocoa powder, baking soda, and salt in a bowl.
  3. Cream butter, sugar, and brown sugar until fluffy. Beat in egg and vanilla extract.
  4. Gradually add dry ingredients until just combined. Stir in chocolate chips.
  5. Scoop dough onto baking sheets and flatten slightly.
  6. Bake for 10-12 minutes, then cool on wire racks.
  7. Prepare ganache: Heat heavy cream until just boiling, pour over chopped chocolate, and stir until smooth. Stir in vanilla extract.
