- 1 pound ground beef
- 1/2 cup bread crumbs
- 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1/4 cup chopped fresh parsley
- 1 large egg
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 2 cups marinara sauce
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
- In a large mixing bowl, combine ground beef, bread crumbs, Parmesan, garlic, parsley, egg, salt, and pepper. Mix until well combined.
- Form mixture into 1 1/2-inch meatballs and place on a baking sheet.
- Bake for 20-25 minutes until browned and cooked through.
- Meanwhile, heat marinara sauce in a large skillet over medium heat.
- Add baked meatballs to the sauce and simmer for 10 minutes.
Notes
- For extra flavor, add a splash of red wine to the sauce.
- You can prepare the meatballs ahead and store in the fridge before baking.
