  • Total Time: 30 minutes
  • Yield: 4 servings 1x

Ingredients

Scale
  • 12 oz (340 g) of your favorite pasta (penne, spaghetti, or fettuccine)
  • 1 lb (450 g) of sirloin or ribeye steak, sliced into thin strips
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/4 cup honey or maple syrup
  • 2 tbsp soy sauce
  • 1 tbsp sriracha or chili flakes
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • Salt and freshly ground black pepper to taste
  • Optional: chopped green onions, sesame seeds, red pepper flakes

Instructions

  1. Cook pasta in boiling salted water until al dente. Drain and set aside. Season steak with salt and pepper.
  2. Heat 1 tablespoon olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat. Cook steak until browned and cooked through, about 3-4 minutes per side. Remove and set aside.
  3. In the same skillet, add remaining olive oil and sauté garlic until fragrant (about 30 seconds). Stir in honey, soy sauce, and sriracha or chili flakes. Cook for 1 minute.
  4. Add cooked pasta to the skillet and toss to coat with sauce. Return steak to the skillet, mixing well. Adjust seasonings if needed.
  5. Garnish with green onions, sesame seeds, or red pepper flakes. Serve immediately.

Notes

  • You can add vegetables like bell peppers or broccoli for extra nutrition.
  • Adjust spice level by increasing or decreasing sriracha or chili flakes.
  • Use a non-stick skillet for easier clean-up.
