Ingredients
Scale
- 4 ripe peaches (or 1 cup of canned peaches in syrup)
- 1 cup of chilled prosecco or sparkling wine
- 1/2 cup of peach nectar or peach juice
- 1 tablespoon of honey or agave syrup (optional, for added sweetness)
- Ice cubes (as needed)
- Fresh peach slices and mint leaves for garnish
Instructions
- Prepare the Peaches: Wash, peel, and remove the pits from fresh peaches, or drain canned peaches. Cut into small chunks and blend with peach nectar and honey until smooth. Add ice cubes for extra chill.
- Blend the Cocktail Base: Combine the peach mixture with ice in a high-speed blender and blend until smooth and icy, resembling a thick slushy.
- Layer the Frozen Bellini: Pour a small amount of chilled prosecco into each glass. Carefully add the peach slush on top, pouring gently to maintain layers and fizz.
- Garnish and Serve: Decorate with a peach slice and fresh mint. Serve immediately with a straw or stir gently before sipping to mix layers.
Notes
- Use very cold sparkling wine and peaches for the best chill and flavor.
- Adjust sweetness by adding more or less honey to suit your taste.
- Reduce ice cubes for a less icy texture if preferred.
- Experiment with different brands of sparkling wine or Prosecco for varied flavor profiles.
