  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 large egg
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
  • 2 1/2 cups all-purpose flour

  • Orange and black gel icing for decoration
  • 1 cup milk chocolate chips or chunks

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Line baking sheets with parchment paper.
  2. In a mixing bowl, cream together butter and sugar until light and fluffy.
  3. Add egg and vanilla, beat until combined.
  4. In a separate bowl, whisk together flour and baking powder.
  5. Gradually add dry ingredients to wet mixture, mix until dough forms.

  7. Cut out pumpkin-shaped cookies using a cookie cutter or freehand with a knife.
  8. Place cookies on prepared baking sheets and bake for 10-12 minutes or until edges are golden.
  9. Allow cookies to cool completely, then fill with melted milk chocolate chips.
  10. Decorate with orange and black icing to create pumpkin faces.
