Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Line baking sheets with parchment paper.
- In a mixing bowl, cream together butter and sugar until light and fluffy.
- Add egg and vanilla, beat until combined.
- In a separate bowl, whisk together flour and baking powder.
- Gradually add dry ingredients to wet mixture, mix until dough forms.
- Roll out dough on a floured surface to about 1/4 inch thickness.
- Cut out pumpkin-shaped cookies using a cookie cutter or freehand with a knife.
- Place cookies on prepared baking sheets and bake for 10-12 minutes or until edges are golden.
- Allow cookies to cool completely, then fill with melted milk chocolate chips.
- Decorate with orange and black icing to create pumpkin faces.
Notes
- You can substitute milk chocolate with dark chocolate for a richer flavor.
