- 3 large eggs 🥚
- 3 ounces cream cheese, softened 🧀
- 1/4 teaspoon cream of tartar
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- Optional: herbs or seasoning of your choice for flavor 🌿
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 300°F (150°C). Separate the egg whites from the yolks.
- Add cream of tartar and salt to the egg whites, and whip until soft peaks form.
- In another bowl, mix egg yolks and softened cream cheese until smooth.
- Gently fold the whipped egg whites into the cream cheese mixture.
- Line a baking sheet with parchment paper and scoop the mixture onto it in round shapes.
- Bake for 25-30 minutes or until golden brown, then let cool before serving.
Notes
- Store in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to a week.
- You can freeze the bread slices with parchment paper in between.
- Great as a base for sandwiches, or served alongside soups and salads.
