  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 3 tablespoons unsalted butter
  • 4 garlic cloves, minced
  • 1 pound fresh green beans, ends trimmed
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • ¼ teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon smoked paprika (optional)
  • Fresh parsley, chopped for garnish

Instructions

  1. Pat steak dry and season with salt, pepper, and smoked paprika.
  2. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over high heat; sear steak 2–3 minutes per side for medium-rare. Remove and rest.
  3. Reduce heat to medium; add butter and garlic. Sizzle 30 seconds until fragrant.
  4. Add green beans, toss in garlic butter, and cook 4–5 minutes until tender-crisp.
  5. Slice rested steak and return to skillet, tossing to coat in sauce.
  6. Garnish with parsley and serve immediately.

Notes

  • For extra crunch, toss green beans with 1 tablespoon toasted slivered almonds before serving.
  • Marinate steak 10 minutes in 1 tbsp soy sauce and 1 tsp honey for deeper flavor depth.
