- 2 1/4 cups all-purpose flour

- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1 cup unsalted butter, softened
- 3/4 cup brown sugar, packed
- 3/4 cup granulated sugar
- 1 tbsp vanilla extract
- 2 large eggs
- 2 cups chocolate chips
- 1 cup caramel bits
- Flaky sea salt, for topping
Instructions
- In a medium bowl, whisk together the all-purpose flour, baking soda, and salt. Set aside.
- In a large mixing bowl, cream together the softened butter, brown sugar, and granulated sugar until light and fluffy. Add vanilla extract and eggs, mixing well.
- Gradually add dry ingredients to the wet mixture, stirring until just combined. Fold in chocolate chips and caramel bits.
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Scoop dough onto a lined baking sheet. Bake for 10-12 minutes, sprinkle with flaky sea salt, and cool on a wire rack.
Notes
- Store leftovers in an airtight container for up to a week.
- You can freeze unbaked cookie dough balls to bake fresh cookies later.
- Serve warm with milk or ice cream for an extra treat.
