- 1 whole turkey (12-14 lbs)
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 1 tbsp salt
- 1 tsp black pepper
- 2 tsp dried rosemary
- 2 tsp dried thyme
- 1 lemon, sliced
- 4 garlic cloves, minced
- 2 cups chicken broth
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 325°F (165°C).
- Rub turkey with olive oil, salt, pepper, rosemary, thyme, and garlic.
- Stuff lemon slices inside turkey cavity.
- Place turkey on roasting rack in a roasting pan, pour broth into the pan.
- Roast for about 15 minutes per pound, basting occasionally.
- Cook until internal temperature reaches 165°F (74°C).
- Rest turkey for 20 minutes before carving and serving.
