- 4 ripe peaches, peeled and sliced
- 4 cups of water
- 2–3 black tea bags or green tea bags (adjust based on preference)
- 1/4 cup honey or agave syrup (more to taste)
- 1 tablespoon freshly squeezed lemon juice
- Fresh mint leaves (optional)
- Ice cubes for serving
Instructions
- Preparing the Peach Puree: Blend the peeled peaches until smooth using a blender or food processor. Set aside.
- Brewing the Tea: Boil 4 cups of water and steep the tea bags for about 5 minutes. Let it cool slightly.
- Sweetening and Flavoring: In a pitcher, combine the hot brewed tea with honey or agave syrup and lemon juice. Stir until the sweetener dissolves completely.
- Combining the Peach and Tea: Add the peach puree to the sweetened tea mixture. Stir thoroughly to blend.
- Chill and Serve: Refrigerate for at least 2 hours or until well chilled. Serve over ice and garnish with fresh mint leaves if desired.
Notes
- Keep leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
- Stir well before serving again to refresh flavors.
- For extended freshness, store in a sealed container or use a beverage dispenser.
