A bright, thirst-quenching Summer staple made with fresh peaches, lemons, and a touch of sugar.

Ingredients

  • 4 ripe yellow peaches, pitted and halved
  • 1 cup freshly squeezed lemon juice (about 45 lemons)
  • 3/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 5 cups cold water
  • 1/2 cup fresh lemonade concentrate (optional, for stronger flavor)
  • Ice cubes, for serving
  • Fresh mint sprigs and extra peach slices, for garnish

Instructions

  1. In a medium saucepan, combine 2 cups water and sugar. Bring to a simmer over medium heat, stirring until sugar dissolves. Remove from heat and let cool.
  2. While syrup cools, pulse peaches in a food processor or blender until mostly smooth (or mash by hand for a chunkier texture).
  3. In a large pitcher, combine peach purée, lemon juice, cooled sugar syrup, remaining 3 cups water, and lemonade concentrate (if using). Stir well to combine.
  4. Taste and adjust sweetness or tartness as needed. Chill for at least 30 minutes before serving.
  5. Serve over ice, garnished with mint and peach slices.

Notes

  • For a smoother texture, strain the peach purée through a fine mesh sieve before mixing.
  • Store leftover lemonade in a sealed pitcher in the fridge for up to 3 days.
  • Want it alcoholic? Add a splash of bourbon or prosecco just before serving!
