Ingredients
Scale
- 4 ripe peaches, peeled and pitted
- 1 cup freshly squeezed lemon juice (about 4-5 lemons)
- ¾ cup honey or simple syrup (adjust to taste)
- 4 cups cold water
- Ice cubes
- Fresh mint leaves for garnish (optional)
- Peach slices and lemon wedges for garnish
Instructions
- Start by peeling and pitting the ripe peaches. Slice them and remove the pits, then blend the flesh until smooth.
- Using a blender or food processor, blend the peeled peaches until you get a smooth peach puree. For a chunkier texture, pulse a few times to retain some pieces.
- In a large pitcher, combine fresh lemon juice and honey or simple syrup. Stir well until the sweetener dissolves completely.
- Add the peach puree to the lemon mixture, then pour in the cold water. Stir thoroughly to blend all flavors. Taste and adjust sweetness or tartness as needed.
- Refrigerate the peach lemonade for at least 30 minutes or until thoroughly chilled. Serve over ice and garnish with fresh mint, peach slices, and lemon wedges for an extra refreshing presentation.
Notes
- Use ripe peaches for maximum sweetness and flavor.
- Adjust the honey or sweetener according to your preference.
- For a fizzy version, add sparkling water just before serving.
- Experiment with herbs like basil for unique flavor variations.
