- 3–4 ripe peaches (or 1 cup of peach nectar)
- 4 cups of brewed black tea (green tea optional)
- 1/4 cup of honey or sugar
- Juice of 1 lemon
- Ice cubes
- Fresh peach slices and mint leaves for garnish (optional)
Instructions
- Wash and peel the peaches, then blend until smooth to make peach puree. If using canned peaches or nectar, skip this step.
- Brew 4 cups of your preferred tea and let it cool completely, or refrigerate until chilled.
- In a pitcher, combine the cooled tea with the peach puree. Add honey or sugar and stir until dissolved. Squeeze in the lemon juice for added tang.
- Add ice cubes to chill the mixture thoroughly. Serve in glasses garnished with additional peach slices and mint leaves if desired.
- Pour into glasses over ice, garnish with peach slices and mint, and enjoy your homemade Sonic Copycat Peach Iced Tea.
