- 1 lb thinly sliced sirloin steak
- 1 bell pepper, sliced
- 1 small onion, sliced
- 1 cup shredded provolone or mozzarella cheese
- 2 cups mixed greens
- 2 tsp olive oil
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat.
- Add sliced steak, season with salt and pepper, and cook until browned, about 4-5 minutes.
- Remove steak and set aside. In the same skillet, sauté peppers and onions until tender, about 3-4 minutes.
- Return steak to skillet, sprinkle with cheese, and melt until bubbly.
- Serve the beef mixture over a bed of fresh greens, garnished with herbs if desired.
Notes
- You can substitute the beef with chicken or turkey for variation.
- Use pre-sliced steak for quicker prep.
