Ingredients
Scale
- 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
- 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 cup breadcrumbs (panko or regular)
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon paprika
- Salt and freshly ground black pepper to taste
- 2 large eggs
- ½ cup all-purpose flour
- Olive oil or cooking spray
Instructions
- In a shallow dish, combine Parmesan cheese, breadcrumbs, garlic powder, paprika, salt, and pepper. Mix well for an even flavor distribution.
- Set up your breading stations: place flour in a shallow bowl, beat eggs in another, and keep the Parmesan mixture nearby.
- Dredge each chicken breast in flour, shaking off excess. Dip into beaten eggs, then press into the Parmesan mixture to coat evenly on all sides.
- Heat olive oil in a skillet or prepare a baking sheet with cooking spray. For oven baking, preheat to 400°F (200°C). Bake the coated chicken for 20-25 minutes until golden and crispy. For air frying, use an air fryer at 375°F for about 15 minutes, flipping halfway for optimal crunch.
Notes
- Ensure chicken is fully cooked; internal temperature should reach 165°F (74°C).
- For extra crunch, use panko breadcrumbs or crushed Ritz crackers in the coating.
- Adjust seasoning to taste, adding herbs like oregano or parsley for additional flavor.
