Ingredients
Scale
- 1 lb ground beef
- 8 oz wide egg noodles
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 small onion, chopped
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 1 tsp Italian seasoning
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Fresh parsley for garnish
Instructions
- Cook the wide egg noodles according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
- Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add chopped onion and cook until translucent. Add minced garlic and cook for another minute. Add ground beef, season with salt, pepper, and Italian seasoning, and cook until browned. Drain excess fat if necessary.
- Reduce heat to low. Stir in heavy cream and grated Parmesan cheese. Mix until the cheese melts and the sauce becomes creamy. Adjust seasoning with salt and pepper as needed.
- Fold the cooked noodles into the sauce and beef mixture. Toss gently to coat evenly. Garnish with fresh parsley and serve hot.
Notes
- Optional: Add vegetables like spinach or mushrooms for an extra nutritious boost.
- For reheating leftovers, microwave in short bursts, stirring occasionally, or warm on the stovetop over low heat. Add a splash of milk or additional cream to prevent drying out.
