- 1 pound thinly sliced beef sirloin or flank steak
- 2 cups mixed fresh vegetables (bell peppers, carrots, snap peas)
- 2 tablespoons soy sauce
- 1 tablespoon oyster sauce
- 1 tablespoon sesame oil
- 2 cloves garlic minced
- 1 teaspoon grated fresh ginger
- 1 teaspoon cornstarch mixed with 2 tablespoons water for slurry
- Sesame seeds and chopped green onions for garnish
Instructions
- Heat sesame oil in a large skillet or wok over medium-high heat.
- Add sliced beef and cook until browned, about 2-3 minutes. Remove from skillet.
- In the same skillet, add garlic and ginger; sauté briefly until fragrant.
- Add vegetables and stir-fry until crisp-tender, about 4-5 minutes.
- Return beef to skillet, add soy sauce and oyster sauce, stir to combine.
- Add cornstarch slurry to thicken sauce; cook for another 1-2 minutes until glossy and coated.
- Garnish with sesame seeds and green onions before serving.
Notes
- Adjust soy sauce for saltiness preference.
- Use pre-sliced beef for quicker prep.
- Serve hot over steamed rice or noodles.
