Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Cream together butter and sugar in a large bowl until light and fluffy.
- Add egg and vanilla, mix well.
- In a separate bowl, whisk together flour, baking soda, and salt.
- Gradually add dry ingredients to wet mixture, stirring until combined.
- Drop spoonfuls of dough onto baking sheets lined with parchment paper.
- Swirl a teaspoon of liquid caramel into the center of each dough ball.
- Insert broken pretzel wand pieces into the dough, pressing slightly to secure.
- Bake for 10-12 minutes or until edges are golden.
- Allow cookies to cool on wire racks before serving.
