Ingredients
Scale
- 1 lb fresh broccoli florets
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice
- 1 tablespoon sesame seeds (optional)
Instructions
- Wash and cut the broccoli into bite-sized florets. Toss with olive oil, garlic powder, salt, and pepper in a large mixing bowl.
- Place the seasoned broccoli in an even single layer in the air fryer basket, avoiding overcrowding.
- Set the air fryer to 400°F (200°C) and roast the broccoli for about 8-10 minutes, shaking the basket halfway through.
- Check for doneness; the broccoli should be tender and slightly crispy. Toss with lemon juice and sprinkle sesame seeds on top before serving.
Notes
- Store leftover broccoli in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
- To reheat, use the air fryer for 3-5 minutes for optimal crispness.
- Perfectly roasted broccoli pairs beautifully with grilled chicken, quinoa, or salads.
