Instructions
- Cream together the softened butter and sugar in a mixing bowl until light and fluffy.
- Gradually add all-purpose flour, chopped pecans, vanilla extract, and salt to the mixture. Mix to form a cohesive dough.
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper. Scoop tablespoon-sized portions of dough, roll into balls, and place them on the baking sheet.
- Optional: Press a whole pecan on top of each dough ball for extra crunch.
- Bake for 15-20 minutes or until golden brown. Your kitchen will soon be filled with an irresistible aroma!
- Remove from oven and let cookies cool on a wire rack. Dust with powdered sugar before serving.
