  • Total Time: 1 hour
  • Yield: 12 slices 1x

Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 1/2 cups granulated sugar
  • 1 cup unsalted butter, softened
  • 1 cup milk
  • 4 large eggs
  • 3 1/2 tsp baking powder
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • Colorful frosting in Paw Patrol theme colors
  • Paw Patrol cake toppers & decorations

Instructions

  1. In a large mixing bowl, cream together the softened butter and granulated sugar until light and fluffy. Add eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition. Stir in the vanilla extract.
  2. In another bowl, whisk together the flour and baking powder. Gradually add to the wet ingredients, alternating with the milk, until a smooth batter forms.
  3. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease and flour two round cake pans. Pour the batter evenly into the prepared pans and bake for 25-30 minutes or until a toothpick inserted comes out clean. Allow to cool for 10 minutes in the pans, then transfer to wire racks to cool completely.
  4. Once cooled, place one layer on a serving platter and frost generously. Add the second layer and apply a thin crumb coat of frosting. Follow up with a thicker layer of frosting and smooth it out. Decorate with Paw Patrol cake toppers and additional designs.
