Instructions
- Start by slicing fresh peaches into thin pieces, or drain canned peaches thoroughly if using them.
- In a large mixing bowl, beat the softened cream cheese until smooth. Gradually add the powdered sugar and vanilla extract, blending well.
- In a separate bowl, whip the heavy cream until stiff peaks form. Carefully fold the whipped cream into the cream cheese mixture.
- Gently fold in the sliced peaches, mini marshmallows, and optional coconut and nuts. Mix gently to combine all ingredients evenly.
- Transfer the salad into a serving dish, cover, and refrigerate for at least 1 hour to allow flavors to meld.
Notes
- Best enjoyed fresh but can be stored in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 24 hours.
- Using canned or frozen peaches is convenient; just ensure they are well-drained.
- Make dairy-free by substituting whipped coconut cream and dairy-free cream cheese.
- For a lower sugar option, reduce or omit marshmallows and opt for natural sweeteners.
