- 1 ¾ cups all-purpose flour
- ½ cup coconut sugar
- ¼ cup agave syrup
- 1 tsp baking soda
- ½ tsp salt
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 1/3 cup unsweetened applesauce
- 1 cup chocolate chips
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Measure out the ingredients carefully.
- In a large mixing bowl, combine the all-purpose flour, baking soda, and salt. Whisk them together until fully blended.
- In another bowl, mix the coconut sugar, agave syrup, applesauce, and vanilla extract until well blended. Gradually add the dry ingredients into the wet mixture and stir until fully combined. Fold in the chocolate chips.
- Drop tablespoon-sized portions of the cookie dough onto a parchment-lined baking tray and bake for 10-12 minutes or until the edges are golden brown.
- Let them cool on the tray for a few minutes before transferring to a wire rack.
Notes
- Store cookies in an airtight container for up to a week.
- To freeze, scoop cookie dough onto a baking sheet, freeze until solid, then transfer to a freezer-safe bag.
- These cookies pair well with milk or a scoop of ice cream.
