- 8 ounces elbow macaroni
- 2 cups shredded sharp cheddar cheese
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 2 cups milk
- 2 tablespoons butter
- 1 tablespoon all-purpose flour
- Food coloring (orange and green)
- Optional: plastic eyes, spooky toppings
Instructions
- Cook the macaroni according to package instructions, drain and set aside.
- In a saucepan, melt butter over medium heat. Stir in flour and cook for 1 minute.
- Gradually whisk in milk until smooth; cook until thickened, about 5 minutes.
- Remove from heat and stir in cheddar and Parmesan cheeses until melted and creamy.
- Add food coloring to create spooky monster colors and mix well.
- Mix the cheese sauce with cooked pasta. Serve immediately with optional spooky toppings for extra fun.

- Use different colored food dyes for fun variations.
- Shape into monster faces with silicone molds or by arranging pasta on plates.
