- 4 bone-in, skinless chicken thighs
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 1/4 cup fresh lemon juice
- 2 tablespoons butter
- 1 cup green beans, trimmed
- Salt and freshly ground black pepper to taste
- Fresh parsley, chopped for garnish
Instructions
- Season chicken thighs with salt and pepper.
- Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat. Add chicken and cook until golden brown, about 6-7 minutes per side.
- Add garlic to the skillet and cook until fragrant, about 1 minute.
- Pour in lemon juice and add butter, simmering for 3-4 minutes until sauce thickens slightly.
- Meanwhile, steam or sauté green beans until tender, about 3-4 minutes.
- Serve chicken thighs topped with lemon garlic butter sauce and green beans on the side, garnished with parsley.
Notes
- You can substitute boneless chicken breasts for thighs if desired.
- Adjust lemon juice for more or less acidity according to taste.
- Serve with rice or crusty bread for a complete meal.
