Instructions
- Cream together the softened butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar until light and fluffy.
- Add the eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition. Then add the vanilla extract.
- Sift together the flour, baking soda, and salt in a separate bowl. Gradually mix into the wet ingredients.
- Fold in the chocolate chips until evenly distributed.
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Drop rounded tablespoons of dough onto the prepared baking sheet, ensuring space between each cookie.
- Bake for 9 to 11 minutes until golden brown around the edges and soft in the center. Let cool on the baking sheet for a few minutes before transferring to a wire rack.
Notes
- Store cookies in an airtight container at room temperature for up to one week.
- For longer storage, freeze baked cookies in a freezer bag.
