Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a bowl, whisk together the flour, baking soda, and sea salt.
- In a separate bowl, beat together the butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar until creamy.
- Add in the eggs and vanilla extract, mixing until well combined.
- Gradually mix the dry ingredients into the wet mixture until just combined.
- Fold in the semi-sweet chocolate chips with a spatula.
- Form the dough into balls and place them on a parchment-lined baking sheet, 2 inches apart.
- Sprinkle flaky sea salt over each dough ball if desired.
- Bake for 12-15 minutes or until the edges are golden brown.
- Allow cookies to cool on the baking sheet for 5 minutes before transferring them to a wire rack to cool completely.
