- 1 box of chocolate cake mix
- 1/2 cup of vegetable oil
- 2 large eggs
- 1 cup of chocolate chips (optional)
- 1 teaspoon of vanilla extract (optional)
- A pinch of salt
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). In a large mixing bowl, combine the chocolate cake mix, vegetable oil, and eggs. Stir until well-blended.
- If desired, add in chocolate chips, vanilla extract, and a pinch of salt. Mix until the batter is smooth and thick.
- Pour the brownie batter into a greased 9×13 inch baking pan and spread it evenly. Bake for 25-30 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
- Remove brownies from the oven and let cool in the pan for 15 minutes before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely.
Notes
- Store brownies in an airtight container at room temperature for up to one week.
- For longer storage, wrap individual brownies in plastic wrap and freeze for up to 3 months.
- Serve warm with vanilla ice cream or drizzled with chocolate syrup for an extra treat.
