Instructions
- Prepare the dry ingredients by whisking together flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt in a large mixing bowl.
- Mix the wet ingredients in another bowl, combining butterscotch sauce, milk, eggs, melted butter, and vanilla extract until smooth. Gently combine with the dry ingredients.
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C), grease the donut pan, and fill each cavity about ¾ full. Bake for 10-12 minutes until a toothpick comes out clean.
- Allow donuts to cool, then dip the tops in butterscotch sauce and dust with powdered sugar before serving warm, preferably alongside homemade butterbeer.
