- 8 oz elbow macaroni
- 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 cup milk
- 2 tbsp butter
- 1 lb chicken breasts, sliced
- 1/2 cup honey BBQ sauce
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Fresh parsley for garnish
Instructions
- Cook macaroni according to package instructions; drain and set aside.
- In a saucepan, melt butter over medium heat; stir in milk and cheeses until smooth.
- Add cooked macaroni to cheese sauce,.mix well, and keep warm.
- Season chicken slices with salt and pepper; cook in a skillet until browned and cooked through.
- Brush chicken with honey BBQ sauce and cook for an additional 2-3 minutes.
- Arrange the chicken over the mac and cheese, drizzle with extra sauce, and garnish with parsley.
Notes
- You can substitute with rotisserie chicken for quicker prep.
- Use gluten-free pasta if needed.
- Adjust BBQ sauce sweetness to taste.
