Ingredients
Scale
- 1 cup unsalted butter, softened
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 1 cup packed brown sugar
- 2 large eggs
- 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
- 3 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 cup cocoa powder
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 2 cups Hershey’s chocolate chips
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a large mixing bowl, cream together the softened butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar until light and fluffy. Add eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition, then stir in the vanilla extract.
- In another bowl, whisk together flour, cocoa powder, baking soda, and salt. Gradually mix this into the wet ingredients until just combined.
- Fold in the Hershey’s chocolate chips, ensuring they’re evenly distributed throughout the dough.
- Drop rounded tablespoonfuls of dough onto ungreased baking sheets, spacing them about 2 inches apart. Bake for 9-11 minutes until the edges are firm. Cool on the baking sheet for a few minutes before transferring to wire racks.
