Ingredients

  • 1 pound kielbasa sausage, sliced
  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 2 carrots, diced
  • 2 celery stalks, diced
  • 3 garlic cloves, minced
  • 4 cups chicken broth
  • 1 can diced tomatoes
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Fresh parsley for garnish

Instructions

  1. Heat a large pot over medium heat. Add sliced kielbasa and cook until browned. Remove and set aside.
  2. In the same pot, add chopped onion, carrots, and celery. Cook until softened, about 5 minutes.
  3. Add minced garlic and cook for 1 minute.
  4. Pour in chicken broth and diced tomatoes. Stir in paprika, salt, and pepper.
  5. Bring to a boil, then reduce heat and simmer for 20 minutes.
  6. Return kielbasa to the pot and simmer for an additional 5 minutes. Garnish with fresh parsley and serve hot.
