Ingredients
Scale
- 4 ripe peaches, halved and pitted
- 1 tablespoon olive oil or melted butter
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- Fresh honey, for drizzling
- Vanilla ice cream, for serving
- Optional garnishes: fresh mint leaves, chopped nuts
Instructions
- Wash the peaches thoroughly, cut in half, and remove the pits. Brush the cut sides with olive oil or melted butter.
- Preheat the grill to medium-high heat and clean the grates.
- Place the peaches cut side down on the grill and cook for about 3-4 minutes until grill marks appear. Flip and cook for another 2-3 minutes until slightly softened. Remove and cool slightly.
- Drizzle the grilled peaches with honey and vanilla extract while still warm to enhance flavor.
- Serve each peach half with a scoop of vanilla ice cream, drizzling additional honey if desired, and garnishing with mint leaves or chopped nuts for added texture and presentation.
Notes
- Best enjoyed immediately for maximum freshness and creaminess.
- Leftovers can be stored in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to one day and reheated gently.
- For added flavor, sprinkle with chopped nuts or serve with a drizzle of chocolate.
