- 1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 2 large eggs
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 3/4 cup all-purpose flour
- 1/4 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
- 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Line baking sheets with parchment paper.
- In a microwave-safe bowl, melt chocolate chips and butter together, stirring until smooth.
- In a large bowl, whisk together sugar, eggs, and vanilla. Add the melted chocolate mixture and mix well.
- In a separate bowl, whisk flour, cocoa powder, baking powder, and salt. Gradually add to wet ingredients, mixing until just combined.
- Scoop dough onto prepared baking sheets using a tablespoon cookie scoop. Bake for 10-12 minutes until the edges are set but centers remain soft.
- Allow cookies to cool on baking sheets for 5 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack to cool completely.
Notes
- For extra fudginess, add an extra 1/4 cup chocolate chips into the dough.
- Store cookies in an airtight container for up to 3 days.
