  • 1 cup Gruyere cheese, shredded
  • 1 cup mozzarella cheese, shredded

  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat. Add sliced onions and cook, stirring occasionally, until caramelized, about 20 minutes. Sprinkle with sugar, salt, and pepper during cooking.
  2. Preheat oven to 450°F (230°C).
  3. Spread caramelized onions evenly over the prepared pizza crust.
  4. Top with shredded Gruyere and mozzarella cheeses.
  5. Sprinkle chopped thyme over the cheese.
  6. Bake in the preheated oven for 12-15 minutes until cheese is bubbly and golden.
  7. Remove from oven, let cool slightly, then slice and serve.
