- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 packet active dry yeast
- 1 cup warm milk
- 1/4 cup unsalted butter, melted
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 teaspoon sugar
- 1 teaspoon salt
- Optional: chopped parsley for garnish
Instructions
- In a small bowl, dissolve yeast in warm milk with a teaspoon of sugar. Let sit until frothy, about 5 minutes.
- In a large mixing bowl, combine flour, salt, and remaining sugar. Add the yeast mixture, melted butter, and minced garlic.
- Mix until a soft dough forms, then knead on a floured surface for about 8 minutes until smooth.
- Place dough in a greased bowl, cover, and let rise until doubled in size, about 1 hour.
- Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Punch down the dough and divide into 8 equal pieces.
- Shape into balls and place on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
- Bake for 15-18 minutes until golden brown. Brush with additional melted butter and sprinkle with parsley before serving.

- For extra flavor, add grated Parmesan cheese or chopped herbs to the dough.
