  • 1/4 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon sugar
  • 1 teaspoon salt

Instructions

  1. In a small bowl, dissolve yeast in warm milk with a teaspoon of sugar. Let sit until frothy, about 5 minutes.
  2. In a large mixing bowl, combine flour, salt, and remaining sugar. Add the yeast mixture, melted butter, and minced garlic.
  3. Mix until a soft dough forms, then knead on a floured surface for about 8 minutes until smooth.
  4. Place dough in a greased bowl, cover, and let rise until doubled in size, about 1 hour.
  5. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Punch down the dough and divide into 8 equal pieces.
  6. Shape into balls and place on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  7. Bake for 15-18 minutes until golden brown. Brush with additional melted butter and sprinkle with parsley before serving.
