Ingredients

  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 packet active dry yeast (2 1/4 teaspoons)
  • 1/2 cup warm milk
  • 1/4 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 1 teaspoon sugar
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 tablespoons chopped fresh parsley

Instructions

  1. In a small bowl, combine warm milk, sugar, and yeast. Let sit until frothy, about 5 minutes.
  2. In a large mixing bowl, combine flour and salt. Add the yeast mixture, melted butter, and minced garlic. Knead until smooth and elastic.
  3. Cover the dough and let rise in a warm place until doubled in size, about 1 hour.
  4. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Punch down the dough and divide into 8 equal pieces. Shape into rolls and place on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  5. Bake for 15-20 minutes or until golden brown. Brush with additional melted butter and sprinkle with chopped parsley before serving.
