Ingredients

- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 packet active dry yeast (2 1/4 teaspoons)
- 1/2 cup warm milk
- 1/4 cup unsalted butter, melted
- 1 teaspoon sugar
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 tablespoons chopped fresh parsley
Instructions
- In a small bowl, combine warm milk, sugar, and yeast. Let sit until frothy, about 5 minutes.
- In a large mixing bowl, combine flour and salt. Add the yeast mixture, melted butter, and minced garlic. Knead until smooth and elastic.
- Cover the dough and let rise in a warm place until doubled in size, about 1 hour.
- Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Punch down the dough and divide into 8 equal pieces. Shape into rolls and place on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
- Bake for 15-20 minutes or until golden brown. Brush with additional melted butter and sprinkle with chopped parsley before serving.
Notes
- For extra garlic flavor, add a pinch of garlic powder to the dough.
- Serve warm with extra butter on the side.
