- 1 pound fresh carrots, sliced
- 2 tablespoons butter
- 3 tablespoons honey or maple syrup

- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- 1/4 teaspoon ground cinnamon (optional)
- Fresh parsley for garnish
Instructions
- Boil or steam carrots until tender, about 8-10 minutes.
- Drain and set aside.
- In a large skillet, melt butter over medium heat.
- Add honey, salt, pepper, and cinnamon; stir well.
- Add cooked carrots to the skillet, toss to coat evenly with glaze, and cook for another 2-3 minutes until heated through.
- Garnish with fresh parsley before serving.
Notes
- For a spicy kick, add a pinch of cayenne or paprika.
- Can be prepared in advance and reheated gently before serving.
