Ingredients
Scale
- 1 pound steak (sirloin or ribeye recommended), cut into 1-inch cubes
- 4 tablespoons butter
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 teaspoon dried thyme
- 1/2 teaspoon smoked paprika
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
Instructions
- Begin by cutting the steak into 1-inch cubes and patting it dry with a paper towel. Season generously with salt, pepper, thyme, and smoked paprika.
- In a large skillet, melt the butter over medium heat. Add the minced garlic and sauté for 1-2 minutes until fragrant.
- Add the seasoned steak cubes to the skillet and cook for 2-3 minutes per side for desired doneness.
- Remove steak bites from the skillet, garnish with fresh parsley, and serve immediately.
Notes
- For best results, choose sirloin or ribeye for tenderness and flavor.
- Don’t overcrowd the pan; cook in batches if necessary for even searing.
- Use a meat thermometer to ensure perfect cooking temperatures.
- Let the steak rest for a few minutes after cooking to retain juices.
