- 1 cup creamy peanut butter
- 1 cup granulated sugar (plus extra for rolling)
- 1 large egg
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 1/2 tsp baking soda
- Pinch of salt
- 24 milk chocolate kisses, unwrapped
Instructions
- Combine peanut butter, sugar, egg, and vanilla in a large mixing bowl
- Mix with a stand mixer or hand mixer until smooth and well combined
- Add baking soda and salt, mixing just until incorporated
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C)
- Roll tablespoon-sized dough portions into balls and coat in granulated sugar
- Place 2 inches apart on ungreased baking sheet
- Bake for 8-10 minutes until edges are set
- Immediately press chocolate kiss into center of each warm cookie
- Let cool on baking sheet for 2 minutes before transferring to wire rack
Notes
- Use room temperature ingredients for easier mixing
- Don’t overbake – cookies firm up as they cool
- Try dark chocolate or peanut butter kisses for variation
- Store in airtight container at room temperature for up to 5 days
- Freeze unbaked dough balls for quick future baking
