- 1 cup all-purpose flour (preferably heat-treated for safety)
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
- 1/2 cup brown sugar
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 2 tbsp milk
- 1/2 cup chocolate chips or chunks
Instructions
- Heat-treat the flour by spreading it on a baking sheet and baking at 350°F (175°C) for 5 minutes; let it cool completely.
- Cream together the softened butter and brown sugar in a mixing bowl until smooth and fluffy. Add vanilla extract and blend well.
- Add the cooled heat-treated flour gradually, mixing continuously. Pour in milk to reach your desired cookie dough consistency.
- Stir in chocolate chips or other preferred mix-ins.
- Scoop the edible cookie dough into bowls and serve immediately or store for later enjoyment.
Notes
- Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days. For longer storage, freeze individual portions and thaw before serving.
- Feel free to customize with nuts, candies, or flavored extracts for added variety.
