Ingredients
- 1 ½ cups graham cracker crumbs (about 10–12 crackers)
- 6 tbsp unsalted butter, melted
- 16 oz cream cheese, softened
- ½ cup granulated sugar
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 1 cup heavy whipping cream, chilled
- Fresh fruit or toppings (optional)
Instructions
- Prepare the Graham Cracker Crust: Mix graham cracker crumbs with melted butter until well combined. Press firmly into a 9-inch pie dish or springform pan and chill for 10 minutes.
- Make the Cheesecake Filling: Beat softened cream cheese, sugar, and vanilla until smooth. In a separate bowl, whip heavy cream to stiff peaks, then gently fold into the cream cheese mixture.
- Assemble and Chill: Pour the filling over the crust, smooth the top, and refrigerate for at least 4 hours (or overnight) to set.
- Serve: Add optional toppings like fresh fruit, chocolate drizzle, or whipped cream before slicing and enjoying!
Notes
- For best results, use room-temperature cream cheese for a smoother filling.
- Chill the mixing bowl and beaters before whipping the cream for better texture.
- Let the cheesecake set overnight for the firmest consistency.
- Experiment with flavors like lemon zest, cocoa powder, or fruit swirls for variations.
